Dresscode vs an admin or operations team

Moving formatting off fee-earners is the right instinct. It lowers the cost per CV. It does not remove the queue.

The short version

An admin or resourcing team is a real improvement on consultants doing their own formatting. The hourly cost is roughly half and the output is more consistent, because the same few people produce all of it.

What it does not fix is timing. CVs land in someone's inbox and go out when that person reaches them, which is rarely when the client asked. Add holiday, sickness and Monday morning spikes and the queue becomes the thing consultants complain about.

To be clear about what we are proposing: Dresscode is not a reason to lose your admin team. It is a reason to stop them spending twenty hours a week on the one task that does not need a person.

Side by side

A capable admin team, against something that never queues.

Based on the default assumptions in our ROI calculator: 3 people in the admin team, 20 CVs each per week, 20 minutes per CV, and an admin hourly cost of £18. That is 3,120 CVs a year, about 260 a month, inside the Growth plan. Adjust any of it in the calculator.

Being fair

What your admin team should still be doing.

Formatting is one task on a long list, and it is the only one on that list we take.

Questions

Straight answers.

Does this mean we make our admin team redundant?

That is not what most agencies do with it. The typical outcome is that the same team stops spending roughly half its week on formatting and moves that time to compliance, candidate care and supporting consultants.

What if a CV comes back not quite right?

Reply to the email and tell us. We adjust your template rather than asking you to work around it, and the change applies to every CV from then on.

Can different divisions have different templates?

Yes. Multiple agency templates are included on every plan, including Starter, at no extra cost.
